In another week or so, we'll all start thinking about getting out our decorations, stringing up lights (Ivo and Glitter think a house can never have too many lights) and putting up our Christmas trees. Ivo looks after Christmas trees both inside and outside the North Pole and the Christmas Tree Team are very busy in December sorting out problems.
At a school this morning, we were discussing what sort of problems you might have with a Christmas tree. The children had some brilliant ideas and I wanted to share them:

The tree might be too high for the ceiling.
A cat might climb the tree.
The tree might fall over.
The lights might not work.
The pine needles could all drop off.
You might not have enough decorations.
All very possible problems and very similar to the issues Ivo faces in Ivo's Christmas Tree Missions. One tree he visits is very thirsty and dry and the pine needles are dropping off. The tree is not getting enough water and is too warm. The Christmas Tree Team treat the tree with Tree Recovery Tonic, a special medicine for trees.
